Retail market of cosmetics in Poland in 2013
Cosmetic market, according to Nielsen’s definition, includes such products as shampoos, hair conditioners, hair styling and color products, deodorants, shaving and after shave products, baby products, face and body care products, sun care, soaps, bath foams and shower gels. According to Retail Sales Panel research conducted by Nielsen, the total sales of some categories of cosmetics in 2013 reached PLN 6.3 billion. In comparison to the previous year it decreased by 2%.
Export of Polish cosmetics in 2014
In 2014 cosmetics manufactured in Poland were exported to over 150 countries. The biggest individual receivers of Polish cosmetics are: Russia (13,0%), Germany (11,9%) and Great Britain (11,6%). European Union countries receive altogether 64% of our export.
Report on Polish cosmetics export in the first quarters of 2015
Cosmetic Reporter again has made an effort to analyse the data concerning the export of Polish cosmetics. For the moment of making the analyse we had an access only to the data for the first 3 quarters of 2015 (updated at the beginning of 2016), but even now it allows us to determine the upcoming perspective in this field.
